We love working with beginners!
We welcome all bodies, genders, abilities, and strength training levels. We look forward to creating a program that best suits your needs, comfort level, and interests.
If you are looking to train with a group, our Foundations program is a good place to start. In the Foundation’s three private training sessions, we will teach you the fundamental movement patterns taught in our small group training sessions. Our goal is to make sure you feel prepared and excited to test your new skills in any of our other programs.
If you’d rather stick with one-on-one training, we will pair you with one of our expert coaches. They will create a program tailored to you!
Kettlebells are one of the most versatile training tools. With just one or two pieces of equipment, you can get a truly well-rounded workout.
Kettlebells are a great tool for improving your grip strength, balance, and cardio capacity. A great kettlebell workout will leave you feeling stronger, faster, and more powerful.
Your health and safety is our first priority. Our team is hyper-focused on form and technique. We will check in with you often to make sure you feel comfortable and that you leave our sessions feeling energized and empowered, never hurt or depleted.
When performed correctly, kettlebell swings should strengthen your posterior chain, and activate your glutes, hamstrings, lats, and core muscles. If your back is feeling sore after performing kettlebell swings, we will work with you to address the technique breakdown.
You can find us in room 210 on the second floor of the Bok Building in South Philly. To get inside you can enter at 9th, Mifflin, or on Dudley street. The code to the call box is Door Pin 210, Code 1011.

"At first I was really afraid of weight lifting but now that I've discovered the welcoming, down-to-earth, supportive atmosphere at KG Strong I'm totally hooked. I've made actual gym friends thanks to my weekly appearances at KG Strong and I find that the people in class cheer me on and celebrate my wins with me."
